Have you ever considered becoming a PLANT PARENT? While to some of us the term “plant parent” is a relatively new thing, but, it's not really new at all. It's not exactly the same as parenting a child or caring for your pet, but it is about nurturing and attending to the needs of plants to bring about new plants. Plant Parenting is a beginner-friendly introduction to plant propagation.  Join Denny Riethman, Mercer County OSU Extension Educator, for the August 26 Mercer County OSU Extension Lawn and Garden Talks class.  The class will start virtually via zoom at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26th.  Learn the basics of plant propagation and the various methods of generating new plants and caring for new plant needs.
