    We are excited to have Caden Buschur as our guest speaker for our third Lawn & Garden Talk of 2025. Caden is the ANR Educator at Darke County OSU Extension. With variables such as cost, space, soil quality, drainage, accessibility, and maintenance, it can be hard to decide which bed to grow in. Caden will lead an engaging discussion on the pros and cons of raised bed gardening versus traditional in-ground gardening.

    Mercer County Ag Agencies invite you to a Grand Lake St. Marys Wetland Tour and plant ID activity. The tour begins at the Little Chickasaw Boat Ramp. Completion of the activity will result in a prize at the end of the event at Windy Point (limited quantity). The morning includes several wetland stops along the south side of the lake, and participants must provide their own transportation.

    Join us for an inspiring seminar led by Master Gardener Volunteer Marily Schweitzer, where you'll learn the art of creating stunning cut flower centerpieces. Marily will share expert tips on selecting and arranging flowers to create beautiful, eye-catching displays. Additionally, she will provide valuable advice on how to care for your flower garden to ensure you grow healthy, vibrant blooms perfect for cutting. From soil preparation to watering techniques and pest control, you'll gain the knowledge needed to cultivate a flourishing garden that produces gorgeous flowers all season long.
